Thank you of your fast answer. Your answer turn on some question for me.
1. for all rows , Credit cost center in IDEAS is unique cost center. What will be happened in the end of period, when I have a cost center with so many credit amount( credit cost center) and other cost center ( i.e. inventory, purchasing cost center and ,,,) are debit.
2. Can I choose overhead cost center(same as inventory management or purchasing department and ...) as overhead cost center in costing sheet?
3.and about my main question, I want to know how do you calculate overhead rate? For example for material is determined cost element 123000 and overhead rate is determined 10%. Is it meaning that 10% of good issue of raw material will be waste( for this order) ? (I do believe no) if it does not mean waste material, how you could calculate your overhead for each order?
For example how you find that overhead amount of each order is combination of 10% raw material consumption + 15% salary +5% semi finish material????
FYI: we used cost center accounting ( assessment and splitting....) and defined direct overhead rate and indirect overhead rate for calculating all overhead. Now i want to use costing sheet for first time.
