Re: Column Spanning in multi-column crystal report

hi Ankush Nema,

 

unfortunately the multi-column design doesn't allow a conditional spanning.

 

a) one choice is to create a group and put subreport 5 in the group footer. ensure that you don't select to have Format Groups with Multiple Column checked on in the Details > Layout tab.

 

b) another choice is to :

1) do a Save As with subreport 5

2) remove the right half of the objects of subreport 5 that's in the main report

3) insert a new Details section at the bottom

4) Insert the subreport 5 that you saved locally in step 1, into the new Details section

4) remove the left of the objects in subreport 6 and move everything to the left

5) get rid of any borders on subreport 5 & 6

 

c) another choice is to not use a multicolumn report and just place your subreports accordingly.
